To ensure that our kittens go to the best homes, we have a thorough but simple purchase process for a acquiring a maine coon.  Please review the steps below:

• Submit a Purchase Application: To start the purchase process, please fill out our purchase application form. This helps us get to know you, your living situation, and your experience with cats.
• Information Review: After receiving your application, we will review it to determine if you're a good fit for a Maine Coon kitten. We prioritize homes that can meet the needs of our kittens, including space, attention, and a safe environment.

• Phone or Video Interview: Depending on your location and the application, we may schedule a phone or video interview to discuss your lifestyle, experience with pets, and the specific needs of a Maine Coon.
• Home Visit (Optional): In some cases, we may request a home visit to ensure it’s a safe and suitable environment for the kitten. This is more common for first-time cat owners or if there are concerns about other pets or children.

• Kitten Profile: Since we run a closed cattery, potential buyers will receive detailed profiles and pictures of available kittens. Based on your preferences and the kittens' personalities, we will help match you with a kitten that best fits your family.
• Choosing Your Kitten: Once we’ve matched you with a kitten, we’ll send you additional information and updates about the kitten's progress, temperament, and any special care requirements.

• Review and Sign the Cattery Contract Agreement: If you decide to proceed with purchasing the kitten, we’ll ask you to sign a Cattery Contract Agreement. This agreement outlines your responsibilities, including ensuring the kitten has access to proper veterinary care, regular meals, a safe environment, and adequate socialization.
• Purchase Fee: We require a purchase fee to help cover the cost of the kitten’s veterinary care, vaccinations, spaying/neutering, and other expenses. The fee varies depending on the kitten’s age, health, and other factors. Payment methods will be explained during the purchase process.

• Deposit to Hold the Kitten: Once your purchase application is approved and you decide to proceed with the purchase, a $500 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your kitten. The deposit can be paid via Venmo or Zelle.
• Balance Due at Pickup: The remaining balance of the purchase fee will be due in cash at the time of pickup.

• Kitten Preparation: Before bringing your new kitten home, we recommend preparing a safe space with bedding, toys, food, and water bowls. Maine Coons are social, but it’s important to allow them to acclimate to their new home at their own pace.
• Veterinary Care: We encourage you to schedule a visit with your veterinarian within the first few weeks of purchase to establish a health routine, discuss vaccinations, and plan for preventive care.

• Pick Up or Delivery: On pickup day, you’ll either pick up your kitten at our facility or we will arrange for safe transportation. We will provide a starter kit that includes food, a favorite toy, and a blanket that smells like the kitten’s original environment to help them feel secure.
• Post-Purchase Support: We are here to support you after the purchase. If you have any questions about adjusting to life with your new Maine Coon, behavior, or health concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

• Check-In: We like to follow up a few weeks after the purchase to ensure everything is going well and answer any questions you might have.
